Did Dragon Age: Origins sell better on PC or consoles?

I had assumed the PC version sold better since the game was designed with PC in mind, but then I was surprised when DA2 clearly had catered to console gamers.

Which version (of both games if available) had better sales?Did Dragon Age: Origins sell better on PC or consoles?
Hawk is incorrect. PC versions of games very often outsell console versions. Some examples are Diablo, Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, and the game mentioned in this question - Dragon Age: Origins!

Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 both sold far better on PC than console. Dragon Age was billed as being a love-letter to Bioware's most heralded RPG - Baldur's Gate II, a game console gamers would detest! It was no surprise that DA:O PC vastly outsold the console version.

You may find some figures claiming lowish sales for PC version, but keep in mind that these figures NEVER include sales from digital distribution like Steam or Direct2Drive, which are the main avenues from which PC gamers get their games.
