How long does a laptop last when you play heavy games that requires alot of cpu power?

Im interested in a laptop that fast, that can play heavy console games like dragon age, resident evil 5, and splinter cell.

But im just concern if my laptop will last over the years if i constantly use it for gamingHow long does a laptop last when you play heavy games that requires alot of cpu power?
Well mine is DELL %26amp; is last over 3 years of Hard Gaming %26amp; i have played ALL advanced games like Crysis Series(the most advanced games on PC platform)Assassin's Creed Series,Resident Evil Series,Mass Effect Series %26amp;....

on this LAP %26amp; it is still like old times,it Rocks.

i have even played 12 hours a day.i play a lot on it even more than on my PC but there are no problems with it.

the only thing i can mention is that it will work more than you can expect it,

also you've better by it a cooler which is placed under it so makes it cool when Gaming %26amp; prevent the heat damage to Cpu or other parts,i guess it is necessary.

also the battery gets out of use much faster when you play a lot,you can change it,just this.

There's no way to know for sure. I would recommend spending more on a desktop for games and saving money on the laptop, but that's just my experience. Cheaper to fix a desktop usually. The most important thing you can do is keep the components cool, so if you're going to do this, get a laptop with plenty of room inside, a decent fan for the video card and mobo and then invest in an external cooling pad and try to play your games while using that as often as you can while keeping game time relatively short. How long does a laptop last when you play heavy games that requires alot of cpu power?
Well if your laptop has a strong enough gpu to play those games at high quality, its battery will probably never last more than 1 hour. If your talking about the life of you computer, it might decrease it slightly because your probably gonna be working your cpu/gpu alot to run games, and laptops generally get very hot compared to desktops
