What are some classic PC games I should play?

Growing up I was always a console kid, because my computer ran like junk. Now that Im older I feel like I've really missed out on some good PC games over the last 15 years, and I'd like to get into them a little bit. Unfortunately all the games I've tried to play have aged horribly, such as the original fallout. Im looking for something with a good story, that hasnt aged too badly, I REALLY dont want Shooters or Real Time Strategy games. Im into RPG's like Dragon age, so which Bioware games still hold up? Are there any adventure games worth checking out? What are some must plays since 98 or so?What are some classic PC games I should play?

They have tons of RPGS and MmPorgs etc :) Plus they are really well priced and good quality, and download straight onto your PC.
