Do you think I'd like Dragon Age 1 & 2?

I know you don't know me but let me describe the kind of game that I love -- non-linear, highly-interactive, open-ended, NON-MASHERS. Some examples of games I love would be Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood .... anyway, based on that should I invest the cash in Dragon Age? Or is there something else you suggest? I use a PS3 console but have PCs more than capable of running any game.



And no, I've never played a MMORPG. I guess that makes me a freak or something, haha...Do you think I'd like Dragon Age 1 %26amp; 2?
Both Dragon Age games are somewhat linear, but your choices can change the story drastically. I think you will like them, since they are highly interactive (as I have mentioned) and strategic-based. You can even pause the game in-combat to give orders to specific members and strategize to win.



PC version is the better choice, since it lets you zoom out further and control party members better.



(I don't like MMORPGs either, you're not missing much =P. But watch out for future MMORPGs like Guild Wars 2 and The Old Republic. You might like them too).
mmorpgs are always just a race to see who can get richer quicker. not recommended heh.

anyway, yes you would enjoy dragon age origins. i would say get that first, because i just got part 2 yesterday and i'm not very impressed. (mostly because a lot of it looks like mass effect, now)

Yeah Dragon Age Origins is very open ended. The combat is more managerial then Oblivion. It requires you to set things up then watch and see if you need to change things (ie use health potions). I like the style of gameplay. Dragon Age 2 is more interactive but you would prolly get more if you play the first though I don't think you will miss much unless you are a lore monger.
I found dragon age 2 to be boring and dragged on. I never played one though. If you are that big a fan of rpgs then I would get it if I were you, otherwise stick to runescape or fable or something.Do you think I'd like Dragon Age 1 %26amp; 2?
dragon age is fun i hear its better on pc and probably is considering the genre but its great role playing game with a great story the second though has definitely fixed the combat system from the first
dragon age 2 is newer and most likely better so ud probably prefer that
