Which is better FPS or RPG?

not online rpg's like WOW but console offline ones like oblivion and dragon age



I like games like call of duty but too many douchebags overplay it its sometimes betterr playing an rpg campain

unlike most fps games which tnd to only care about online multiplayer ( and not every gamer is intereste din that online garbage ) an rpg is meant for single player and can and wil last you for years i have played oblivion for 4 years and still havent done everything

your can play through mw 2 in 5 hours

5 hours in oblivion is just enough to get in to a guilde

if your in it just for the amount of time and worth of a game ie you just plunked down 60 bucks so this game better not be over in 8 hours time rpgs tend to be the better choice
Well to begin with they are completely different genres so it comes down to what you prefer really. RPGs usually give you alot of game for your money single player wise where as FPS gives you 20 hours max of quick shooting.



RPGs might take too long for some people to get in to as they aren't quite as fast paced but can sometimes be more rewarding at the end of it all.



RPGs aren't know for their online side (although that's starting to change a bit) where as there's a huge community for the FPS side which can be a good or bad thing depending the type of person you are and the type of people that play that kinda game.

RPG and FPS in the same game is best (ie Deus Ex). But of the two genres I prefer to play FPS but RPGs are good also.
