I've Followed a step by step of how to enable the console to the letter, ive made a shortcut of my Daorigins.exe and put 鈥揺nabledeveloperconsole on the target, note: it looks like ("C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\bin_ship\daorigins.exe" 鈥揺nabledeveloperconsole) but when I enter the game to try to use it the console still wont work when i press ~ or any button..the console just wont open, anything else i should try? (note: I know its not working cause after i press ~ i can still use all the other keys, so its just not opening, and yes its not the launcher im using its the exe file from the bin)Dragon Age origins enable console?
try going to your documents%26gt;bioware%26gt;Dragon age%26gt;settings%26gt;Key bindings then go to the line OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_X (the X might be GRAVE, that's what it was on mine) anyways replace X or GRAVE whatever it will be on yours to whatever key that isn't assigned to something. This worked for me. For example mine says OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_`
