What is your favorite video game series for the console you own?

Mine is Mass Effect for my Xbox 360. Mass Effect is the pinnacle of BioWare's story telling. BioWare gave us Jade Empire, Star Ware: Knights of The Old Republic, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. And each series has been better then the last. But Mass Effect is my favorite.



The story itself is so rich and invigorating. There are countless ways to play the game, from different endings, different beginnings. You can get to know your companions on a very personal level. The combat system is great. Mass Effect 2 is even better. I like the Thermal Clips over Infinite Ammo because you have to think tactically. You can't just spray and pray. The Cover and Command systems are very similar to Gears of War only much more redefined. I love being able to import my Mass Effect 1 character into Mass Effect 2. All choices made in Mass Effect 1 have pros and cons in Mass Effect 2. And choices in Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 will have pros and cons in the upcoming Mass Effect 3. I'm super excited about mass Effect 3.



So what franchise do you love best for the console you own?What is your favorite video game series for the console you own?
Well, I'd say Castlevania for the NES.



It's classic, the game's fun, the difficulty makes sense (it's hard, but not too hard, you have to grow accustom to the game, it doesn't bend over and toss your salad and hold your hand like a idiot. I.E Call of Duty or Battlefield), it has some of the best Music, along with some of the most recognizable tunes in gaming as well. (Search "Vampire Killer", you've probably heard it before) I also like the fact that the game has some pretty classy nods to older Horror Literature and mythology (Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man).



Also, it helped define platformers.



A next favorite of mine would be Deus Ex (A great stealth RPG) or Thief (A TRUE STEALTH GAME) or Metal Gear (Not solid lol) Street Fighter's a contender as well.
Definatly Kingdom Hearts, however, the problem with it, is that they make you purchase several systems to play them all...

Assassin's Creed has definitely been one of my favorites. Right now Im dying to get skyrim because i just know I could spend endless hours with that game.What is your favorite video game series for the console you own?
well I don't really follow series anymore but when i used to play my n64 and gamecube and stuff it was either zelda or mario games :P now i just get the ones that look the coolest.
