Mage or Rogue dragon age 2?

Hi i have just got dragon age 2 and i am not sure whether to be the mage or rogue?

Can anyone help ?Mage or Rogue dragon age 2?
I would go rouge. ive already beat the game on a rouge and the fluffy person, no offense, is wrong. Rouge can do massive dmg and take down enemies fast, elimination the groups fast. there skill trees allow for big crits especially assasination. THe assasinate skill can do 4000, yes i said 4000, dmg if it crits correctlyMage or Rogue dragon age 2?
Rogue is more based on stealth and taking down enemies one at a time. They are fairly weak when it comes to fighting off multiple enemies at a time (for ex. an ambush). The mage has extremely powerful attacks a low level and can attack an area of effect but their gear is kind of expensive as you get further into the game.
