Okay, i bought the armor in the gem category. I have fenris's and avelines and merrills. When i open up the armor thing and switch to fenris it shows a picture of his normal armor and under that there are three colored blocks and one is empty (i guess that means i dont have the last armor thing) I dont know how to make it so he is wearing the armor i got for him. When i go to his mansion i dont see the mission thing (the little triangles for a quest) what do i do to get him to wear the armor i bought?Dragon age 2, changing companions armor?
You can't give the companions new armor in DA2. All you can do is customize their amulets, rings, weapons, and apply runes. There are upgrades you can also buy or find for their armor, but they don't change how they look. If you find armor your can't use, sell it.

you can't change the armor of the characters, but you can buy upgrades for their armor, for example, raise Dexterity or raise rune slot and etc...
